EVENT SCHEDULE                     
  • 7:30 am Packet Pickup
    Welcome! Packet pickup for the Living on Your Land conference is at 7:30 am in the lobby next to the Cafe at Rogue Community College. Come here first to pick up your class packet, which includes your class schedule, room assignments and lunch ticket (must be purchased in advance). Note that you must have registered for the event in advance; there is NO registration at the door.

    Please give yourself plenty of time to park (parking is free and widely available; do not park in reserved spaces), walk to the Cafe, pick up your packet and get seated for the opening keynote address. We welcome you to arrive early, join us for coffee and refreshments in the lobby and browse the exhibit tables (see list of exhibitors) before heading to the auditorium for the keynote speech. The lobby/check-in/exhibit area is open all day.

  • 8:15 - 8:45 am Keynote Address
    Andrew Millison, horticulture instructor for Oregon State University, will open the Living on Your Land Conference as keynote speaker. He brings more than 20 years of experience in designing and building permaculture projects to his teaching. Says Andrew, "Permaculture design is a method of landscape planning that mimics the relationships and patterns found in nature and can be applied at many scales, from a home garden or farm to a city block to urban planning." Millison's keynote is a highlight of what promises to be an inspiring and informative conference!

    Most exhibits are located in the lobby next to the Cafe. We encourage you to browse the exhibits for  information and inspiration that will make your participation in the Living on Your Land Conference even more rewarding!
